How to use the sudoku in class
Sudoku is not arithmetic, and it is worth saying plainly: no adding, no times tables. What it trains is logical reasoning and persistence, which is a skill rather than a topic.

Which size to choose
- The 4x4 uses only the numbers 1 to 4 and suits Early Childhood and the 1st and 2nd grade, including children still settling counting.
- The 9x9 is the classic one, from the 4th grade up.
- Easy and medium are a real gap: easy solves by direct elimination, medium needs two lines held at once.
- Up to 3 boards per sheet. Three easy ones fill a lesson for a student who picks it up fast.
