Terms of use.

These terms govern the use of HeyProf, a product operated by Zelb Labs LTDA ("we"). By subscribing to or using the service, you agree to what is written here. If you disagree with any part, simply do not use it.

What HeyProf is

HeyProf is a pedagogical co-pilot that lives on WhatsApp and generates lesson plans, support materials, class-council reports, and answers pedagogical questions. The service includes:

• Generation of PDF lesson plans aligned to your official curriculum.
• Partial plan adjustments via chat commands (redo a day, adapt an activity, etc.).
• Educational chat for methodology and didactics questions.
• Access to a human pedagogue via WhatsApp, with a monthly request quota (Schools: unlimited, during business hours).
• Web dashboard for subscription management, account settings, and data export.

The subscription (a single one, with everything included) and the Schools plan are described at heyprof.ai/pricing. We reserve the right to evolve the product, but we communicate any change that reduces something you already contracted.

Account and eligibility

• To use HeyProf, you must be at least 18 years old and work as a teacher or in a pedagogical role.
• Authentication is via WhatsApp number. You are responsible for keeping that number secure.
• One account = one person. Sharing access among multiple teachers is not permitted (schools have their own contracting, see For schools).

Payment

• Prices: US$ 14.99 per month, or US$ 149.90 per year (the equivalent of 10 monthly payments). Schools receive a custom quote.
• Payment methods: credit or debit card, processed via our payment partner. Which methods are available depends on the country you subscribe from.
• Billing cycle: monthly or annual (annual comes with a discount equivalent to 2 free months).
• Price adjustments: we give at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Invoices: issued automatically after each charge, available in the dashboard.

No surprise charges

Cancellation

• From the dashboard at heyprof.ai/acesso, clicking "Cancel subscription".
• Or by sending cancelar on HeyProf's WhatsApp.
• Access continues until the end of the already-paid billing cycle. After that, it simply stops.
• No lock-in, no fee, no retention.

7-day guarantee

• To ask: send I want a refund on HeyProf's WhatsApp, or write to [email protected].
• The refund goes back through the same payment method within 7 business days of the request. On a card, when it shows on the statement is up to the bank.
• The plans and materials you already downloaded stay yours. We do not delete them or charge for them.

Planning and fair use

Planning generation is unlimited, subject to fair use: the service is for a real teacher's routine, and automated use, resale or volume incompatible with individual human use may be limited. Class council reports have their own monthly quota, described at heyprof.ai/pricing.

Responsible use

HeyProf is for pedagogical support. Do not use the account to:

• Generate illegal, discriminatory, sexually explicit content, or content that harms students.
• Attempt to circumvent technical limits (rate limits, credits) through automated means.
• Share generated plans as your own product for resale.
• Collect or insert individual student data (name, tax ID, grade). The system was not designed for this.

If we identify usage outside these parameters, we will speak with you before any suspension. Severe cases may lead to account termination with a proportional refund of what was paid.

Content ownership

• A lesson plan generated for you is yours. You may use it in the classroom, print it, adapt it, and share it with your students.
• The HeyProf brand, software, prompts, and architecture belong to Zelb Labs LTDA.
• You may not repackage the service (e.g., sell "access to HeyProf" to third parties).

AI limitations

HeyProf uses generative AI models to produce lesson plans. The AI is good, but not infallible:

• Plans go through an automatic curriculum check and, when the system detects an inconsistency, human review. But final pedagogical responsibility in the classroom is yours.
• We always recommend a critical read-through before bringing a plan to class. HeyProf is a co-pilot, and it does not replace the teacher.
• For questions beyond what the AI can handle, you can escalate to a human pedagogue. The subscription has a monthly request quota (renewed each month); Schools is unlimited. Answers during business hours.

Availability

We work to keep the service running 24/7, but we do not promise 100% uptime. Maintenance windows are rare and, when they happen, we announce them in advance. If there is a relevant outage (e.g., down for more than 12 hours in a month), we automatically credit the day back.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Brazilian law, Zelb Labs LTDA is not liable for indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the service (lost profits, data loss caused by third parties, pedagogical decisions made by the user based on the plans). Maximum contractual liability is limited to the amount paid for your subscription in the last 12 months.

Changes to the terms

When we need to make a material change here, we notify active accounts via WhatsApp and update the date at the top of the page with at least 30 days of advance notice. If the change does not work for you, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes will be resolved, preferably, in chat and, if necessary, in the courts of Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil.
